The California Wine Institute (CWI) is proud to announce the return of California Wine Month this summer. Now in its 8th edition, the 2026 program marks a historic milestone, celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the 1976 Judgment of Paris while expanding for the first time to Macau, bringing California's "Golden State of Mind" to a broader audience across Greater China.
This year's campaign spotlights "BOLDNESS"—one of California wines’ core brand pillars—exemplified by the pioneering spirit that led California wines to triumph over French labels in the legendary 1976 Paris tasting. That moment changed the wine world forever and continues to define California winemaking today: innovative, diverse, unafraid to push boundaries, and committed to sustainability through the "Wines on a Mission" initiative.
